 Step-by-Step Court Marriage  Registration Procedure

The process typically takes 2 to 3 working days

Step 1: Filing the Application

The couple submits a joint application at the District Court. Our lawyers at Lawin & Partners handle the drafting to ensure all legal terminology is accurate.

Step 2: Document Verification

The Court officer reviews the documents. If a foreigner is involved, the court often verifies the NOC from the embassy.

Step 3: Appearance and Statement

Both parties and their two witnesses must appear physically before the District Court Judge. The Judge will confirm that the marriage is consensual.

Step 4: Issuance of Certificate

Once the Judge approves, the court registers the marriage and issues the Official Marriage Certificate by court.
